Welcome to Buyspares. In this video I will be showing how to identify an error code on a Zannusi or AEG washing machine. Important: Before replacing a part in any electrical appliance you must ensure that the appliance is first
unplugged from the mains. Many machines may indicate
an error code if the machine has a problem. This will usually be displayed either as a
combination of lights regularly blinking on the front panel, or a digital code of
letter and numbers. Error codes can mislead but should be
used to help look in the correct area to identify what is going wrong. Here are the typical error codes used in
many Zannusi and AEG washing machines. There are a few exceptions to some earlier models but this seems to be correct for most
machines. Error E10, E11 or E12 indicates the machine is not happy with the filling. This could be due to no water coming in
caused by a pinched or blocked pipe or valve. Or if water fills it maybe a block pressure hose or switch Errors E21, 22, 23 24 all relate to draining problems. this is most likely a blockage, so check
the pump and filter. It could also be a failed pump or board. E30 and 31 relate to the door lock check
the door shuts correctly and examine the door lock connections for damage. E33 to E37 are sensor errors. This could be the pressure switch or the
water temperature sensor here. ErrorsE42 to E45 relate to the door lock and is
controlled by the Board. E50 to E62 are motor related errors. so to confirm the motor is running check brushes if fitted and motor plugs
and wires. Notes on some machines E61, E62 and E66 refer to heat problems or stuck heater relay. E71 is an NTC water sensor fault. Replace this if the connections are OK. E82 and 83 relate to the program selector switch being faulty. the 93 to be 97 are PCB and memory faults. And are likely to need a replacement board if the problem recurs. For a more in-depth description of all the
errors known by us see our advice centre articles as these
may be updated more frequently could be longer and more descriptive
than this video. Remember to use these areas as a guide
to the area of the problem For all the spares you need visit www.byspares.co.uk
