It is important to know your computer
configuration & specifications. Or at least how to look them up when you need to. Dell has made it simple for you to be able
to check this information easily. Check your system configuration on our support
site to see it as it was originally shipped. This information includes, but is not limited to: To find this information, go to Click on Detect PC and the site will
recognize your computer. On the next page, select the option
System Configuration and click on the Original Configuration tab. Expand Components to generate a list
of all the original components when you first ordered your Dell PC; expanding each item reveals the part number,
quantity and description. You can save the information to a spreadsheet
on your PC by clicking on Export to CSV. Next, click on the Current Configuration
tab and a list of all the components that your system has currently installed on it will appear. Now you have the ability to compare
both sets of information and cross-check your system’s current configuration against the original. Anytime you need help or have questions, you can contact us through social media on
