Your videos are always excellent and your advice is very sound! It's always nice to see a new one pop up in my notifications! I play Fallout 4, GTA 5, Witcher 3, and many, many other newer and older games with my combination of G4560, GTX 1050sc, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, all on a MSI H110M Pro-VD motherboard. They run at High Settings anywhere from 45fps – 60fps and above even that! What I have found is that if you tone down shadows and a couple other settings, you don't lose your graphics quality and the games run smoothly! The only thing that holds back my setup at times is my HDD accessing.

I have a 450w PSU that came with my case but it doesn't have PCI-E connector for a GPU. This wasn't a problem as I have a GTX 750ti currently but I plan to upgrade in the future. I'm deciding between a 1050ti, 470,1060, and 480. The PSU does have 2 Molex connectors that I could use for adapters but I'm not sure how effective this will be. I read reviews where some adapters burned out and ruined GPUs and others where the adapters didn't even power a 470 at all. Do you recommend I try a 470 with adapters or play it safe with a 1050ti?

Oh man I can't wait for the "why" part of the AMD build you're doing though. I'm looking for a budget CPU and am not sure whether I should just go for the G4560 or an old AMD processor, if I can find one that competes with the low price etc. And R3 and R5 Ryzen CPUs are no doubt a long ways away.

You have one of, if not the best tech channels on youtube, and this series highlights why. You explain everything in short, then make more videos on the same thing in case people want more information, and make related video's easy to find. Another strength you have that I admire is that you explanations of concepts or product reviews are easy to follow if you are not tech savvy, but contain enough information to keep a tech savvy person interested and well informed. Keep up the good work!

For years i have ATX towers, getting tired to have a big-ass tower on the table, now i'm focusing on an ITX case(shoe-box)(LAN box) or little bigger, and have the same power/handle than a FULL ATX motherboard, my personal opinion, CD/DVD player/burner is dying breed, and it use extra wattage for the tower(CD 750MB/ dvd 4.7 GB) storage capacity
Flash-stick can beat than and it's allot cheaper i can get a 16GB flash-stick for $5.- in local store, then why buying a whole-stack(50 blank disc) than may possible scratch/ or deep cuts and your data become unreadable

My next case there will be no DVD, most games/programs are available for downloads and easy to store on a Flash-stick or on your local hard drive
Beside, downloadable programs are much cheaper than buying a DVD package in your local store..

Mark my word, that SSD is also dying breed in the future, M.2 SATA G2 6Gbps will become more available on the motherboards, who knows in the future, you can insert 4 of them side by side(if needed)and it only use 3.3 volt per stick, prob 200 watt PSU is all you gonna need to run the whole PC and not using a 1500 PSU

So I bought that card and I also ordered that computer. When looking at another video "$400 Desktop Computer – GTX 1050 TI – How To Install" I read a comment of yours where you state that; "I do not recommend installing a GTX 1060 into this case due to the heat issue." That was 2 months ago. Did you change your opinion about the compatibility of this card and computer?

Great video,, I just bought hp compaq pro 6300 MT tower pc 2 days ago for 79 € with this specifications : i3 3220 3.3 Ghz ,, 500 gb hdd ,, 4 gb ram ddr3 1600 MHz and 320 watts power supply .. I am planning to add more 4 gb ram and second 1 tb hdd ..
my question is , which graphics card fit with this pc? Physically and technically ( power and bottleneck ) … I have read some comments on other videos and websites that the best option is gtx 750ti as the other cards need more power ..
also, I have checked nVidia website for gtx 1050 , gtx 1050ti says it need minimum 300w and for gtx 1060 the minimum is 400w … some ppl mentioned that if the card has 6 pin connector mean it need more power , so 300w not enough.. I get confused 😐.. anybody can help me with the right decision..

Sorry for my bad English ..

Dell uses a mini 24 pin atx connector on some motherboards. You will need a adaptor cable from standard ATX to Mini.
I found this out the hard way but found the adaptor cable on ebay for like 10 bucks shipped. I also had to modify the case to make the evga 450 watt power supply to fit.
Just started watching your stuff a few days ago and enjoy it so much .. thanks
